How is Electrical Wiring Europe Done?

In Europe the wiring is generally done using rather similar cable that has wires with thickness of 1.5mm^a pair of or 2.5mm^2. Safe electrical installation demands several safety devices in place. The US electrical safety standards are not the same as European ones. Some products might not operate correctly, or to the requisite safety required by you appliances will not work in Europe, so please be aware that this might pose a problem with you. This is general data about wiring, and is by no means meant to be specific. Understand this before you travel and then have to pay good money for a converter while you're traveling.
