The Travel Voltage Basics of Getting Electricity in Europe
Here's the deal. European electrical voltage is 220. What you need to know concerning adapter plugs, transformers, converters, battery chargers, razors, hair blowers that you bring to europe, is that you're going to need an adapter of some sort to get them to work correctly. To use electrical appliances in Europe, some hardware is needed in order to get them going. The hotel keeper or desk clerk will probably know which adapter you'll need so please ask them. Better is to do research before you travel to whatever European country and find out specifically which type of adapter or converter you'll need to get your appliances or electronics up and running smoothly.
